Hello everyone! I'm back! Took me very long enough to update a journal that I am. So you might be wondering or probably a question that may have in mind... What have I been doing? Where have I been or simply what happened to me for the past 2 years of Hiatus? Well...it's a long story so here goes..
On a lighter note... it all started when my brother and his fiance got married 2 years ago. I was officially an uncle when my niece was born. Her name is Mia. Me and my family took turns taking care of her for her needs or whoever is available on our days off. My brother's wife lived in our house for almost more than a year but inevitably decided to move with my brother with Mia to find an apartment. I don't want to go with details on why they decided to move but all I can say is that my brother's wife can't adjust living with my parents or simply can't follow some rules in the house. So that leaves me and my parents to support each other from now on and as the younger sibling I'm left with a lot of responsibilities. I decided to quit my previous job as an inventory organizer & cashier from Rite Aid and temporarily joined volunteer night classes and training from Civil Air Patrol as a senior member while I was job hunting. I only need to attend class once a week but there are a lot of activities from online lectures, video demos and online exams. Unfortunately, after a year and a half there came a time I parted ways with my volunteer activity to CAP when I finally got a new job working graveyard shift at Dulles Airport. If I probably continued my volunteer night classes from CAP, I would have been a mission scanner back then if I finished the remaining training requirements. Sorry to say though that I can't reveal which company I'm working at the airport because it's well...classified or in other words, company policy. I work part-time 4 days a week but I get duty calls sometimes whenever the airport is understaffed. Well, I hope that gives everyone the answer on what happened to me for the past 2 years.
Now on a darker note... my two pet turtles died back last year when they were not successful from their hibernation. I personally buried both of them in my backyard. I usually keep them indoors but from my brother's wife situation when she was pregnant... I don't know why turtles are not allowed indoors when a person is pregnant. Several months later, a relative of mine died with cancer...
On a side note... I just wanted you all to know that I never gave up my passion as an artist. I'm just distracted as always from my hobbies because I shift different activities most of the time during my days off to unwind like playing mobile games with my friends, watching anime, assembling Gundams, hanging out with life friends or family watching a movie or outdoor sports, babysitting my niece whenever big bro and her wife visits our home etc.
Health is important for me as well because I learned the hard way certain years ago when I ignored my body symptoms and overexerted myself that I eventually ended up with a severe sickness that took me more than a month to recover. It maybe selfish of me to think for myself and take it easy to take a break from art updates, comments and feedbacks to sort things out on what to do for all different activities I've been doing so far in life. I had my ups and downs in life but all I can say for myself is that I'm A-ok and still kicking. Thank you for whoever read this journal until the end and sorry for that I may have ignored your art and didn't even comment as well. It's really up to you whether my journal today is convincing or a load of crap. You are the judge to that. I don't have excuse for what I have done because it was always my choice. Some of my old DA watchers and friends quit but I'm not quitting DA and I'm here to stay and visit but inevitably still and and off activity on DA that I am. Thank you and much appreciated for those who still support me despite my long hiatus! Take care everyone and have a good day! My motto remains the same as always "Art updates, comments & feedbacks are always welcome anytime!" Good morning to all! Time for me to

Back?
Sorry...it's been a long time and once again. I'm not really dead on DA. My artist spirit is still within me but not as active unlike my prime year way back in 2005. I'm really distracted with a lot of activities to do in life but in reality...I'm not good at time management on the things that I have to do because as a hobbyist... I do more activities besides drawing. I got into gunpla build model kits ever since my life friend David introduced me to Gundam and well... I became an instant fan and got into gunpla building and even started watching the anime series more than drawing. >_< I know I can never make up for all the activities that I
Anime Convention Event
Hello to all Deviant Artists around the world. I hope you are all doing alright. Sorry to say that either my art progress has been slow a lot lately due to a lot of activities from tasks to do at home and looking for another part time job for a good income to make a living in life. I'll be working in progress for three fan art tribute pieces for three of my favorite voice actors who will be a special guest at the upcoming anime convention event in VA. I just hope I make it in time because I'll be drawing three detailed fan art which may take some time to finish not only with traditional pencil media but with inking and coloring as well. I hav
DA Journal June 2nd 2014
Hello to all Deviant Artists! It's been ages since my last journal hasn't it? ^^; I just wanted you all to know that I'm kinda or so-so active on deviant art due to invisible mode. I'm sorry to say that there are still no art updates from the past two months but that still doesn't mean that I'm quitting Deviantart. All I can say as an excuse is that "Distraction is my greatest enemy," but on the bright side I still searching for inspiration to either create originals or fan arts alike. My life so far for the past few months has been helping out lately with my parents every spring and summer for home projects such as deck painting, swimming po
Happy 30th Birthday to Me!
Aiyaiyai I'm at the starting stage of becoming an old man because 30 plus years in the future for me will be an official old man but oh well .. that's life :faint: ^^; My passion for video games, drawing, anime, movies, reading manga and much more will never die because it will always be a part of me that it is. :la: :w00t!: I got RE6 from my Aniki for my early b-day present. I already finished Leon, Chris, Jake and Ada's campaign especially unlocking all the alternate costumes from the mercenary mode. All I have to do in the game is to complete all the serpent emblems from all campaigns. For me, RE6 is the hardest Resident evil series that I

Sorry for not being on DA - I left it since do many people disappeared!
Sounds like you've had a hard time. I never heard about that with turtles.
Congrats on becoming an uncle though!
